The candidate will partake in the understanding of basic functions and the risks of operating a forklift, the candidate will be shown the basic maneuvers and will learn how to do a preliminary inspection of the forklift prior to operation.

PRECISION FORKLIFT OPERATOR TRAINING

In certain commercial and industrial sectors, Aerospace and Aeronautical applications for example, the need for a Precision Forklift Operator is critical. The cost of having a Qualified Competent Precision trained Forklift Operator fades in comparison to the high cost of damaged merchandise caused by an uncertified Operator.
Training Objective:
- Help the candidate to strive for and obtain a superior level of understanding and competency with regard to his or her specific material handling application.
- Help the candidate to be more productive.
- Help the candidate to gain control in certain material handling circumstances.
- Help the candidate to understand, react and make sound decisions with regard to operating safely.
The Training is primarily made up of practical activities that relate to the following points:
- Estimating Load Weight
- Finding center of gravity
- Effective use of Pivot Points
- Correct use of Transmission «inching brake pedal»
- Displacement of Loads on uneven surfaces «rough terrain»
- Displacement of Loads in motion
- Maneuvering within confined areas
- Safety with regard to > Lifting > Rigging and Slinging
FORKLIFT OPERATOR TRAINING FOR TELESCOPIC BOOM FORKLIFTS

(This training course takes place on site at MANULIFT, using MERLO and SKYTRAK Equipment)
This course is available only to those candidates who have completed and obtained their Forklift Certification. By the end of this course, the candidate will have learned to estimate the weight of a load, understand the principles and the risks related to the safe operation of Telescopic Boom Equipment, be able to perform a walk around visual inspection of the equipment and will be able to carry out the basic operations of said equipment.
Pedagogic Training:
- Each candidate will participate in an entry level examination with regard to the basic principles of Forklift operation.
- Masterly Presented Exercises Combined with Real Time Situations.
- Theoretical and Practical Evaluation.
- Evening or Weekend Courses.
- Forklift Operator Certification Card Valid for 3 Years.
- Training Fees Tax Credit Admissible.

Company Registration
As an Enterprise, you have the option of on site training at your facility or if you prefer, the training is offered at our facility.
Our Trainers are mobile and are available to serve the various regions of Québec.

Cancellation
In the event an unforeseen event or scheduling conflict prevents you from participating in your training on the day that it is scheduled, our policy options are as follows :
- Cancellation with 72 hours notice prior to your scheduled training
No penalty fee, includes the possibility of rescheduling your training to a later date. - Cancellation with less than 72 hours notice prior to your scheduled training
50% of your training costs will be withheld.
No Forklift Certification Certificate or Card will be issued until full and final payment has been received.
